Hours:                 39.25 hours per week

 

St John’s College is looking to appoint a Chef de Partie to join its busy Catering and Conference Department.  Using the best fresh ingredients, the postholders will be responsible to the Executive Chef for ensuring the preparation of food to a very high quality for members of the College, as well as high profile events.

The College is very well respected within the hospitality industry and has a high reputation for its food and service, which we are always looking to improve upon.  All staff are fully trained in allergy awareness, and the College is a member of the Sustainable Restaurants Association and TUCO.

You will be qualified to NVQ3 level, City & Guilds 7061 and 7062 or equivalent together with previous relevant experience and will hold a Food Hygiene Certificate.  Basic knowledge of HACCP principles and COSHH regulations are essential.
