Salary: £16.11 per hour
The Chapel is looking for a relief Verger to assist the smooth running of the Chapel and to assist the Chapel Clerk.
The relief Verger will play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly, helping to set up and reset for services and concerts, welcoming visitors, and ensuring the Chapel remains a safe and respectful space for everyone.
We’re looking for calm, reliable, and practical person who is happy to get stuck in, work flexibly, and support the Chapel in its roles as a place of worship, concert venue, and visitor destination. You’ll also need to be comfortable working in line with the Chapel’s ethos. Other duties may be required as necessary.
The postholder will need to be compliant in the College’s safeguarding requirements, health and safety and fire regulations. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
